"Rabiosa" (English: "Rabid") is a song by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, taken from her seventh studio album Sale el Sol. It was written by Armando Pérez, Edward Bello, and Shakira, and released by Epic Records as the third single from the album, on April 8, 2011. Two versions of the song exist; the English-language version, which features American rapper Pitbull, and the Spanish-language version, which features Dominican rapper El Cata. The song is Shakira's interpretation of Cata's original song "La Rabiosa", and is heavily influenced by merengue and dance music. Lyrically, the song focuses on Shakira and El Cata, or Pitbull, singing about each other's sex appeal.
